Under the supervision of Discipline Director or COO coordinate the execution and tracking of project delivery across all disciplines as necessary by increasing communication and relaying project decisions between project managers and the project team concerning scheduling, deliverables and deadlines. Assist team members and provide general project support to professional staff using project management software, accounting programs and other various methods. Carry out numerous tasks that may include the following: maintaining digital records, assemble plans and specifications, attend meetings, compile meeting minutes, distribute project deliverables, schedule meetings and monitor project progress.
Required: Demonstrated experience in engineering and/or construction management, or related field. A demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and complex projects; outline the tasks, maintain a schedule. A demonstrated ability to work with a combination of professionals, technicians and administrative staff. High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 5 years’ experience in related field with project management/administration preferred. Possession of a valid driver’s license required.
Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Proficiency in all Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Power Point. Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Mosaic a plus.
Regularly required to stand; sit; walk; talk or hear; and reach with hands and arms. May occasionally be required to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment. May occasionally work in other locations as required for project meetings.
